Jay's General Comments:

Mallard Lake is part of the DuPage County Forest Preserves and has undergone major renovation since 2009. The entrance has been completely rebuilt and extensive shoreline restoration has taken place. What used to be only a handful of shore fishing access spots has increased to a vast majority of the entire lake. Controlled burns have eliminated many of the invasive species of brush and opened up much of the shoreline.
