Fall trout stocking

Does anyone have the dates for the fall trout stocking? When will Belleau be closed?

Thanks.

I'm starting to wonder if this warm weather will affect the trout badly. Since the lake closed on Oct 1, it's not unreasonable to assume that the trout are already in there. Are they really going to survive 2 weeks of temps in the high 60s to mid 70s and still be fishable when the season opens? I haven't fished a fall trout season here yet so I don't know what to expect.

They will be fine. Some of those fish some how manage to not get caught and can make it for more than a year.

As of yesterday they had yet to close off Axe so maybe they are going past their Oct 1 date. Anyways I'm sure things will be fine.

Do they do anything to indicate the lake is closed past the signs that are already up saying it's closed from Oct 1 until 5am on the 15th?

At Axe they put the 'Closed' chains up over the entrances.

Interesting, since people use those parks for things other than fishing, like walking their dogs. I'd even say dog walking is the primary use of Belleau. I wouldn't expect the park to be closed to all use just because of this.

While most Pennsylvanians think of spring as the official start of the trout fishing season, fall opportunities are increasing. Following a dry summer with dozens of days exceeding 90-degree heat, anglers are anxious to enjoy cooler air and water temperatures that benefit fish.

I have yet to see the spam. It's probably coming soon on post #2. For now, I'm assuming it's just a drunk Memorial Day reveler who's not sure of where he's at or why.
