From the south suburbs to the northwest suburbs, the Des Plaines River provides some excellent fishing opportunities.

DPR Pike 6-26-12

Made another quick stop on the way home from work. Got me another pikey on a walmart spinnerbait but not as thick as my previous one. Not much of a fight but went crazy once gripped.

thanks. any slack water near downed trees especially in the shaded area, they're there!
