My daughter and I ran to one of our local favorites for a little over an hour tonight, and she, as usual, wanted to find the 'gills... She only caught a couple tonight but the 2nd one was her best to date... A little shy of 10 inches... I saw her fighting it and thought it was a bass till she got it in... What a slob... Then just before we packed up, Dad got a nice near 3 pounder as a bonus on a black Zorro spinnerbait... Next trip, she wants to learn how to fish senkos... Gotta get her ready for next month's Deep Lake tourney!

Nice job, Mike! Nice shirts, Sam's has Justin Bieber and you're wearing a Cubs shirt, although tonight's game wasn't to nice!! It seems like you keep catching the same bass everytime you go lol

Yeah, definitely one of the biggest 'gills I have seen in a while... It's no wonder the bass are as healthy as they are over there...

And I hear you Tony, a clutch hit (God forbid!) and they would only be 8 1/2 out... Now at 10 back, they can start by dumping that awful Fukudome who spun himself into the ground on another dirtball to end the game again... Ugh!!!

Those are some great pics. The top one is a classic. She’s got the lunker pose down pat :) . I think watching your kids catch a big fish is more fun than catching one yourself.

Very nice. The lake I fish at has some monster gills and often they're much more fun to catch than bass.
