I just wanted to share that the Daiwa Fuego 1000A spinning reel is on sale for $99 at tacklewarehouse. I've never used this reel before but I think this is a great deal considering its raving reviews online and it used to retail for $300 2 years ago.

I've already purchased 1 for myself Now I've gotta go look for spinning rod!

Got the 1500 a few months ago during their last big sale (about $130). I like it better than my Pflueger Patriarch. Great reel and a steal at $100. Also, comes with 2 spools and the second isn't a cheapy imposter.
