4/16/17 south pool

Postby Busse Jim » Apr Sun 16, 2017 9:11 pm

Got out this Easter afternoon for 3-1/2 hours on the south pool.
Water was up a foot, brown stained with 1-2” vis. 70s, wnw winds 10-20, Cloudy at start then sunny. Started at 1:15. Was looking for eyes but settled on Bass, cause I couldn’t find the Eyes. Found a couple of bite sized dinks

and a 14”1.5lber and a 15” 1.9lber

all on a baby -1 before heading out and running into Skifish on his way in, hope he had better luck.

On a side note to my nonstop Friday bass extravaganza, after checking some records I discovered that my 20th Bass on Friday was my 1500th lifetime Largemouth. :D

Jim congrats on your 1500th Busse bass! Only 1485 more and I'll have you beat. It's truly test of your resolve and ability to dominate that fishery like few others, especially during a tournament. I think my FPH is .29 or 1 fish every 3 hours at Busse. I don't have the fire in belly much anymore to fish a lot of our local waters, though I know it would make me better angler. Nice work!
Unless we've talked, pm, texted or have fished together before please don't ask me for my fishing spots.
