5-26 trout/smallies on the Rogue, MI

Postby cb-fishes » Jun Wed 06, 2012 8:36 am

Oh man this is belated. Things have been crazy, only just this morning got this written up. Hadn't even finished my first cup of coffee!

Long story short- went canoeing on the Rogue River in Michigan with some buddies, caught 2 rainbows, 1 brown, 1 smallie, and 1 rock bass. My first time in a canoe! WIth three guys in it, it was a little scary at times.

It was quite an adventure. We ate the brown, he was delicious. The next day I caught 5 big smallies in one spot, but that's another post I need to write...

Haven't been on the forums too much lately- got a new job, busy busy, but thanks for those of you who are!

Tight lines y'all,
