Went fishing Aug 5, 2012 caught a few small cats not worth keeping less than 2 lbs
Water temp considerably high 94* + wind/waves became too much of a factor gave up around noon
Shad were spotty

I think this time of year only thing biting are blues and channels. Thought I heard that there was a fish kill there due to the heat. Welcome to the board!
