Caught 1 baby carp about 2 pounds. other than that lots of traffic (kayakers) out on the water. around 9pm had a few cats on the line but couldnt get the hook up right.

couple guys working the docks, 1 guy fly fishing, and a bunch of kids killing the gills.
I wanted to find out info on renting a fishing boat there, kinda stinks that they don't start renting till 11, kills the possibility of hitting up an early morning round of fishing. Anyone recommend any spots to target if fishing from a boat?

Probably doesn't make a difference if you fish it from a boat or from shore... The majority of the lake is 22-24 feet deep with flat bottom and fish cribs (trees) littered all over the place... There are huge carp in there though... I walked the lake a few years ago and you could see a whole bunch of them cruising over by the rock wall... Many of them were well over 10 pounds... There are big cats in there too if you like fishing for Mr. Whiskers... Doughballs (I use Wheaties) have worked well for me there in past years....
